"Having a baby was the most beautiful and scary thing I have ever done in my life. Even though I was blessed to have had a caring and supportive spouse by my side, having Donna there as my doula was the best decision I could have made. 2. Journeying to Philadelphia.
Donna drove 3 hours to be by my side when I went into labor. Turns out—false alarm! But she stayed with me until things were settled and got back on the road when I was resting. One week later it was show time! She breathed with me on the phone and made the 3 hour drive AGAIN. She helped me labor at home as long as we could before I wanted to go to the hospital. After a week of early labor and 12 or so hours of active labor I was tired. I had only dilated 5 centimeters and I opted to receive an epidural. She supported me through that decision as well. I still felt so much pain!!! I remember asking her to apply pressure to my back for so long that we both fell asleep on my hospital bed. She was graceful, centering, and a gentle spirit. I would pay any amount of money to have her with me again.

3. Client testimonials and love.
I was experiencing medical bullying from my Ob/Gyns about my birth choices and birth rights. Finally, I reached out to a friend that said he had a friend that is a doula; I was skeptical at first because I'm very protective of my energy. He went on to explain that it was her passion to help women like myself and that I should reach out to her. I reached out and learned that she was based in VA(I reside in NV). That did not deter us, Donna provided me with a plethora of knowledge to help comfort my anxiety about having my baby spontaneously, at home and unassisted.
She was always just a phone call away and provided so much support she felt like family even though we'd just recently met. Donna was knowledgeable on holistic natural remedies and safe ways to position myself and my baby for delivery. As I went into labor she supported me via phone and video chat. She remained calm and confident throughout my entire birthing experience which kept me confident in my decision to home birth. Before I knew it, I was holding my beautiful healthy baby girl delivered in the most relaxing space possible. I highly recommend Donna, she is sweet, caring, knowledgeable and listens to your concerns and addresses them accordingly. I would definitely use her services again in the future.
